FAQ
What is the difference between “Marijuana” and “Hemp”?
Industrial hemp is cannabis that has been tested and contains less than 0.3% tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) by dry weight. Our partners at Colorado Hemp Solutions, LLC have the Colorado Department of Agriculture come and test their fields prior to harvest to ensure that their crops can be legally sold in all 50 states.
Once full-spectrum phytocannabinoid distillates and “crude oils” are produced, they are then diluted down in a delivery method with the final product containing less than 0.3% THC (oral tincture, vaginal suppository, salve, etc.).
Are your products tested?
Yes! All of our products are third-party lab tested by our phytocannabinoid supplier- Colorado Hemp Solutions, LLC (CHS). They primarily use Aurum labs in Durango, CO through the METRC program. This is the only state certification for labs currently in Colorado for industrial hemp.
We have selected specific strains from CHS for use in our products due to their phytocannabinoid content. We know the phytocannabinoid and terpene breakdown of every batch of full-spectrum phytocannabinoid distillate that we purchase and we purchase in small batches to preserve the quality and content of our full-spectrum phytocannabinoids.
Are your products organic?
Yes! We do not buy products that are not either tested to be free of pesticides, GMOs, or herbicides (our full-spectrum phytocannabinoid distillate) or certified organic (the other herbs used in our extracts). In addition, our botanicals are extracted in organic grape ethanol. All of the farms that we work with use holistic and organic based principles.
How is your “CBD” different than the rest of what’s out there?
We vetted several hemp farmers/farms prior to partnering with our phytocannabinoid producer, Colorado Hemp Solutions, LLC. We have gotten to know them personally and were impressed with how well they know full-spectrum phytocannabinnoids when we visited them on their western slope farm. We also know that they control every aspect of their production from seed propagation and cloning facilities; to growing in their pre-amended and naturally rich western Colorado soil; to drying, hand shucking, storage, extraction and distillation and transportation.
CHS has helped us identify strains that contain phytocannabinoid profiles particularly well-suited to women’s health concerns. At CGBx we blend their laboratory tested full-spectrum phytocannabinoid distillate with organically grown herbal extracts that we create “in house” using organic grape ethanol to create our unique herbal supplements. By maintaining control from farm to finished product, we are able to ensure that our products are of the highest quality and therapeutic value.
How do I order online?
Click on the “shop” button and you will be taken to our online store. Shipping and use of our products is legal in all 50 states.
Could I test positive on a drug test after using your products?
Our products contain less than 0.3 % THC. However, humans metabolize cannabis in varying was. While it would be rare, CHS has had reports of customers testing positive for THC after longer term use. If you are risk averse or work a job that requires drug testing for THC, please use the topical products, as the risk of failing a drug test for topical products is minuscule.
